Meet Penny Adams

DEVEOPER OF THE SEAASONS SUPERVISION FRAMEWORK

I am a proud South Aussie of 20 plus years having lived in the city, rural and regional areas and have been involved in the mental health, education and pastoral care sectors in SA for over a decade. I have been delivering supervision training across Australia since 2020.

I own and operate a successful counselling business, of which supervision forms an important aspect. I am registered with ACA Level 4, PACFA Clinical and the ACA College of Supervisors and hold post-graduate qualifications in counselling. I was honoured to have been involved with training counsellors for RTO’s for 7 years and hold a current Certificate IV TAE.

It will be my pleasure and privilege to assist you in becoming a supervisor and I am looking forward to meeting you.

Robyn has been working in private practice since 2006. She is passionate and privileged to work alongside clients bringing about change in their lives.

Robyn’s extensive training experience enables her to facilitate superivsion training counselling and provide supervision for  counsellors, Pastors, Chaplains and Pastoral Carers.  CCAA Clinical member.

Shannon specialises in blue-collar industries, focusing on critical incidents and trauma work with emergency services. He has been a Clinical Manager at Converge International, a Clinical Supervisor for OZ Help Foundation, and is currently the Dean of Counselling at Perth Bible College, alongside running an active private practice.

Shannon holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Engineering, Theology, Education, Commerce, and Counselling.

The Love Hope and Gratitude Foundation is the culmination of Glyn’s determination and compassion for victims of domestic violence, sexual abuse and homelessness. The foundation seeks to help victims in a variety of ways including counselling, advocacy and refuge accommodation for adults, children and pets. The program is designed to provide a flexible and engaging learning experience, allowing participants to progress at their own pace and in their own time.

The program is designed to meet the in-person training requirements of ACA 

What are the entry requirements?

Answer

Anyone can do the training, from students to expereinced counsellors, social workers, mental health, and community service workers.

The program will equip you with a solid foundation and framework for clinical supervision.

However, it is recommended that participants have prior experience in counselling or a related field. Before enrolling in the training it is advisable ot check with your professional governing body to ensure it meets their specific requirements.

Where is the training available?

Answer

The Supervision training is currently available in Adelaide, Melbourne, Perth, Sydney & Brisbane. 

I would consider travelling to Darwin if there were enough numbers. Please reach out to discuss.
