The RISE UP model of supervision training is delivered through a combination of live in-person training over 3 days and self-paced pre-training course work.

What are the entry requirements?

Anyone can do the training, from students to expereinced counsellors, social workers, mental health, and community service workers.
The program will equip you with a solid foundation and framework for clinical supervision.
However, it is recommended that participants have prior experience in counselling or a related field. Before enrolling in the training it is advisable ot check with your professional governing body to ensure it meets their specific requirements.
Where is the training available?

Glyn is a Domestic Violence advocate in South Australia, Her case reached the High Court of Australia in 2012 and its decision set a precedent that changed the law not only nationally but internationally. The Love Hope and Gratitude Foundation is the culmination of Glyn’s determination and compassion for victims of domestic violence, sexual abuse and homelessness. The foundation seeks to help victims in a variety of ways including counselling, advocacy and refuge accommodation for adults, children and pets. Glyn’s goal is to establish shelters for those who are vulnerable and most in need.
Penny ran a fantastic workshop, I felt engaged over the entire 3 days, other participants were able to add input and were encouraged to contribute…absolutely loved the course, the format was fantastic.
